Installing an eSIM on your Google Pixel is quick and easy. You can set it up using either a QR code or by manually entering the activation details, just choose the method that works best for you.
To install an eSIM on a Google Pixel using a QR code:
- Go to Settings > Select Network & Internet > Tap the “+” icon > Choose “Download a new eSIM?” > Scan your QR code > Download.
To install an eSIM on a Google Pixel using manual codes:
- Go to Settings > Select Network & Internet > Tap the “+” icon > Choose “Download a new eSIM?”
- Press “Need help?” > Select Enter it manually > Paste the code you received from Free Roaming (including LPA and the colon ‘:’. These are not links, but rather codes to be entered in the designated space) > Tap on Continue > Download.
How to activate an eSIM on Google Pixel?

- Go to Settings > Tap on Network and Internet > Choose SIMs > Select Free Roaming Line > Scroll down until you see Networks> Disable the option Automatically select network and wait for available operators to load.
To choose the correct operator for your plan, follow these steps:
- Go to freeroaming.io and search for your eSIM destination, for example, Spain. Click on Technical Specs and refer to the Networks section. In this case, the best network for the Spain plan is Orange.
- If the connection doesn’t work with the operator you selected, try switching to the other operators listed in the Technical Specs of your plan.
